Hidden Treasures

We've been pretty delighted to find some hidden treasures as we clean and get to remove some of the decorative elements that were boarded up for protection.

Most notable is this lamp post at the bottom of the main stair railing (that our electrician, Miguel from MH Electric, rewired to work!!!!)

The glass shade that tops this magnificent architectural element is frosted pink glass with embossed sea creatures (jelly fish and swordfish) and weird symbols.......

Was Perez Mason an occultist? An alien? or just a fan of the natural world?
